Anticlimax in Buncombe

Judge Marlene Hyatt, slated to hear the Parkside/Pack Family case this morning at 9:30 a.m., convened the court at 10:05 a.m. and immediately announced that she wouldn’t hear the case until 2 p.m. The packed courtroom emptied swiftly. More news this afternoon. Perhaps.

Update on Tuesday morning.

Hyatt held the hearing and announced that she would rule by late this week. Stay tuned.
